Lesson Objective 1: I create a sketchbook cover with my name, on the right side of my paper.
The work does not have a name on the correct side. 1

The work shows that great time and consideration was given in the text, font, and design. 4
Lesson Objective 2: I can fill the background with interesting lines and shapes, to develop a pattern that fill the entire page.
The work does not have lines or shapes. Very little consideration was given towards the line and shape design for my cover. 1
The work has some lines and shapes in the background. Minimal consideration is given to design. 2
Time and consideration was given in the design and this is supported the the planning process. 3
The work includes a variety of lines and shapes that create a pattern that is well planned. 4
Lesson Objective 3: I can create three thumbnail sketches to plan a well developed work of art.
