NAEA Chicago

This year was my second conference. As a first year middle school art teacher I attended seminars that all mostly centered towards the middle school age group. I am eager to incorporate electronic portfolios in our district plan so I spent a great deal of time focusing my attention on these types of seminars. I tried to find seminars with information I could implement immediately when I got home, but also finding resources for things  I need for the future. This year's trip was not one  I will not soon forget as my husband and I ended up having to rent a car to drive back to Kansas as our flight was overbooked. I missed my first day back from spring break, spend 12 hours in an airport just to turn around and spend 9 hours in a car. The conference itself was a wealth of knowledge and I  look forward to going back  in the future. I earned one unit credit which is the equivalent of 12 credit hours. Not bad for a three day conference.
